Academy Studio & Suzuki Strings

Joseph Choi, music director of the youth symphonies and assistant conductor of the OSO oversees the Academy Studio, our site for making private lessons available on all orchestral instruments (including piano, theory, conducting, guitar and percussion). We have qualified, professional instructors lined up for low brass, horn, trumpet, violin, viola, cello, double bass, and all woodwinds. We strongly encourage any interested students to take advantage of this opportunity if you are not now taking private lessons. We intend to make the Owensboro Symphony Academy the premiere place in the tri-state for quality instrumental instruction.

We are also happy to announce the arrival of Meagan Clement, recent graduate of the University of Memphis, and certified Suzuki Strings instructor. She is now accepting violin students.
