Hector Berlioz - Symphonie Fantastique, op. 14
Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique is the stuff dreams are made of. Each movement is filled with fantastic shapes and characters. Espana by Chabrier is a fantasy piece that evokes the people of Spain. Poulenc's Gloria combines our OSO Chorus, and a wonderful soprano in a celebration of glory from the Roman Catholic mass. It was awarded a Grammy Award in 1965 with the Robert Shaw Chorale.
