Enjoy many styles of American music through the ages, inspiring music by Copland, Gershwin, movie and patriotic works. See how music, history, art and theatre all work together to enrich our lives. Just in time for a great review before music testing, Beethoven magically appears to guide students in a fun-filled adventure with the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra. Hear famous, powerful masterworks specifically selected to showcase music core content, and discover how music is influenced by nature, art, social studies, theatre and history. Two student winners of the Young Artists Competition will also inspire students with their superb playing. What a fun way to study core content and bask in beautiful music as well!
